As I look out my window at work at Broad and Exchange, I'm having a bit of trouble seeing very far as the snow is really falling out there. Given the danger of traveling the roads (the only one I intend to travel is the one home...), it is not surprising that I'm hearing of some cancellations for jazz gigs tonight. So far, I've heard of these two:
- Susan Pereira & Sabor Brasil (Exodus to Jazz) @ Hyatt Regency Hotel Rochester, 8:00 & 10:00 pm
- Jimmie Highsmith Jr. & Friends @ Charlie Brown's on the Green, Durand Eastman Park, 7:00 pm
I would contact the venues for any of the gigs on my listings post for tonight as you're likely to see many more cancellations. When I hear of any more, I'll cross them out on the Rochester jazz listings post from yesterday.
