Seven days ... nothing... sorry about the silence. I'm still recharging from the XRIJF and catching up with some work. But the jazz around Rochester, NY, keeps marching on ... so here are the listings for the next seven days. I have a feeling that there are some missing here, but everyone's on vacation this week so perhaps this 
I finally am starting to catch up from nine (well, 8) days of jazz festing and already it's that time—that is, time to catch up with the jazz that will be playing in and around Rochester over the next seven days. 
The Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival is still on and many local jazz musicians may be found wandering around "Jazz Street" or in the XRIJF venues, both playing and listening—but not all. There are some local folks playing jazz elsewhere in and around Rochester. Here are the jazz listings for the next seven days (Note, jazz fest gigs are NOT here):

Also appearing will be drummer Kenwood Anderson, pianists Paul Boutte and Dave Spinner, and vocalists Lauren Faggiano and Whitney Marchelle among others. All proceeds will go to benefit The Advocacy Center, which provides services supporting people with disabilities and their families in achieving their goals.
The Advocacy Center does this through information-sharing, individual advocacy support, independent service coordination and educational workshops and helps people with disabilities to to build life-long self-advocacy skills. The presenting sponsor is MVP Care Care.
