Eric Person and Meta-Four are next up in Exodus to Jazz series . . .

On Saturday, September 29th, Eric Person and his band Meta-Four are the next featured artist in the Exodus To Jazz series at VENU Resto-Lounge & Nightclub, 151 St. Paul Street in Rochester.  As reported in the Kansas City Star,

EricpersonSaxman Eric Person . . . and his Meta-Four band played with a singleness of purpose that we never hear enough of. Each player seemed concerned with pushing the others to play their best-and they did.

This Exodus to Jazz appearance by Person and Meta-Four kicks-off the group’s four-week national tour in support of their new album Rhythm Edge (buy it at CDBaby or Amazon). In addition to band leader and saxophonist Eric Person, Meta-Four includes bassist Adam Armstrong, drummer Peter O' Brien, and pianist Jarod Kashkin. Eric hails from St. Louis, where Dean Minderman has been keeping a similar city jazz blog St. Louis Jazz Notes and writes about Eric occasionally.

Show times are at 7:00 PM & 9:15 PM. Tickets are $ 17.00 at www.TicketWeb.com (search for “Eric Person & Meta-Four”) and $ 20.00 at the door; students pay $ 10.00 with student ID. For more information, visit the Exodus to Jazz website or call (585) 733-7685.
