Go out and hear some jazz this week in Rochester

Hello, is anyone out there interested in some jazz? Here is where to find live jazz music this week in Rochester, NY.  Get out there and listen to some....

I'd also like to shout out to the artists out there (or their management). Although I get about 100 people a day visiting this site, many who are looking for something to go out and hear, I'm finding it harder to find if and where you all are playing. My usual sources for information have become much more sparse. Perhaps that is all that is out there and it's just the dead of winter, but I'm wondering if it's more. I hope that you know that you can send me your gigs if you're not getting them into the usual sources like City Newspaper and Freetime. Venues are welcome to speak up, too. Thanks to those who already give me the scoop.  Just use the email link in the left column and drop me a line to let me know. Remember to get them to me before Wednesday evening, when this post is usually written.

I've compiled these from other sources and from the artists themselves, so please forgive me if there are any discrepancies with reality and feel free to let me know if something is wrong and I'll get the change up on the site as soon as possible. Email subscribers should check back here to see if there has been an update or revision before you make decisions on jazz to see (subscribers won't get an update email or posting).

hey. accidentally caught a pretty good jazz session at the temple bar friday night when we were out celebrating a friend's birthday. i think they were eastman kids playing for mardi gras, and they were wonderful.
