And now for something completely different . . . three guys from Sweden
New jazz website with an unlikely name . . . OK, it's about as likely as they come . . . Jazz.com

While the IAJE parties across the pond, we have some jazz right here in Rochester, NY....

I wish I was up in Toronto at the 35th Annual Conference of the International Association of Jazz Educators started this morning and running through the 12th. Well, this blog is something like being a jazz educator. There will be over 100 performances by artists like Kurt Elling, New York Voices, Christian Scott, Paquito D'Rivera, Tierney Sutton, Kenny Werner, Nordic Connect, and Joel Harrison (who was here this week at the Bop Shop). Here are the headliners. However, I work for a living and it's not jazz work, so here I am in Rochester. Good thing there's quite a lot of jazz to pick from around here this week if the listening bug catches me.
