Come out to hear some jazz with teeth...the Bop Arts fall season of jazz is coming!

Bop Arts, the nonprofit that local independent record store The Bop Shop owner Tom Kohn put together to support presenting jazz and other music that you won't hear much elsewhere in Rochester. This is music that may push you into places you haven't been before, but it is always the best there is—Tom makes sure of that.
- September 3rd: The ICP Orchestra, 8:00 pm ($20 donation requested)
- October 1st: Jason Hwang's Edge Quartet, 8:00 pm ($10 donation requested)
- October 5th: The Paul Smoker Trio, 8:00 pm ($10 donation requested)
- October 27th: The Willem Breuker Kollektief, 8:00 pm ($20 donation requested)
- Novemer 11th: The Amanda Monaco 4, 8:00 pm ($10 donation requested)
- December 4th: Rudresh Mahanthappa's Indo-Pak Coalition, 8:00 pm ($10 donation requested)
There will also be a great show at the German House presented by Bop Arts on September 22nd, with the the F.A.B. Trio of Billy Bang, Joe Fonda and Barry Altschul. Show at 8:00 pm, Tickets are $22 advance & $25 at the door and are available now (head on down to the Bop Shop and pick up some CDs while picking up your tickets.
