Formed in 1991 by Susan and Brazilian drummer Vanderlei Pereira, Sabor Brasil is one of the most popular Brazilian ensembles in the NYC area. Vocalist, pianist and percussionist, Susan Pereira draws on many influences in her compositions and arrangements, including samba, bossa nova, choro and Bahian rhythms and styles.

The "Latin Heat" series concludes (as does the Fall/Winter series) on January 30th with the Gabriel Alegria Afro-Peruvian Sextet at the Clarion on January 30th. More later on that.

All shows are at 8:00 and 10:00 pm. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased for individual shows or for packages. One date is $25 reserved seating, $20 general admission and the last two dates is $42/$34. Students get a 50% discount. Purchase through Ticketweb.com or email your order to exodustojazz@aol.com.
