Jazz Around Town: I'll be back before it's over....
Jazz Around Town: As we enter the first month where snow can fly, there's still a lot of hot jazz around....

Jazz Around Town: I'm baaaaack!

My mother laughingI have returned to Rochester after spending most of the last month in Kansas with my family after my mother's death. I'm coping and trying to get back to at least a semblance of my former life as I continue to process this loss. Thanks to those of you who have expressed your condolences. I appreciate it. She was a great woman and will be missed....

I leave you with a great picture of her (who would bear with me when I listened to "my music" but was more of a cowboy song girl herself) and next week's jazz listings.

Very sorry to hear of your loss. Please accept my condolences. And remember, the line between "cowboy song" and "jazz" is thin, very thin.

Thanks, Jon. You're right about the line....
