Mostly Other People Do the Killing will be killing it at The Bug Jar this Thursday

Jazz Around Town: The brass isn't the only thing blowing...

With the wind howling outside...again...I'm inside where it is warm and bringing the next seven days of live jazz in and around Rochester to you. Highlight for me is tomorrow's gig with Mostly Other People Do The Killing at the Bug Jar. The folks at the Xerox Rochester International Jazz Festival have announced schedule updates. The Cedar Walton Trio will be replacing Billy Bang, who died last week; The Ben Allison 3 will be replacing Supersilent, who had scheduling issues. I hope to start my preview coverage of XRIJF soon. That is all... now to the listings:

The other 2 of the Ben Allison 3 are Steve Cardenas (gtr) and Shane Endsley (tpt). Most excellent!!
