Exodus to Jazz brings the stellar Ulysses S. Owens Quintet to Rochester on Saturday, April 14th

Rehearsal w/JLCODrummer Ulysses S. Owens, who has previously graced the Exodus To Jazz stage is bringing a all-star quintet with him to Rochester on Saturday, April 14th at the Hochstein Performance Hall in a concert that will feature compositions from his new Criss Cross CD Unanimous. Owens has a powerhouse group of jazz musicians coming with him, featuring bassist Christian McBride, as well as trumpet Marcus Printup, pianist Christian Sands and saxophonist Jaleel Shaw.  

Eastman jazz faculty member Bob Sneider will greet everyone with a solo guitar performance beginning at 7:00 pm.

The venue is the Hochstein School of Music Performance Hall, 50 North Plymouth Avenue, Rochester, NY. Doors will open at 7:00 pm at which time there will be a Patron Ticket holder “Meet & Greet” reception and the Welcome Performance by Bob Sneider. The USO Quintet will begin at 8:00 pm and do 2 1-hour sets with a 30 minute intermision. Tickets are $35 for Patron tickets, $25 for Premium seating tickets, and $20 for General Admission tickets.
