Jazz Around Town: Back in town and the XRIJF countdown begins...
June 12, 2013
Although I had some nice jazz experiences while in Chicago (Steve Turre Quartet at Jazz Showcase, plus our own Katie Ernst playing at the Knickerbocker Hotel), it's really nice to be home in Rochester again. XRIJF is right around the corner and you can expect to see some more coverage here soon. However, I'm still trying to decide how to cover the festival this year. There is so much other coverage now (there wasn't nearly this much when I started doing this...) that I feel much better about laying back, having fun and, God forbid, LISTENING TO THE MUSIC!
