Now some of my choices may stretch your definition of jazz (that wouldn't be the first time), but I've tried to assemble the jazz that will be presented during the Fringe below. I hope you join me while I get out and stretch my ears a bit:

Jazz Around Town: I've got the feed blues... but still have some jazz for you

jazz club imageAs you may have noticed from the last few posts, Jazz@Rochester has been experiencing some failure in the feed. There are some of our readers who I swear don't even know that there is a website here. I hear "I love your emails..." quite often. However, while the feed itself appears to be working, my email feed has not been working. I chalk that up to Google deciding that they no longer want to be in the feed business. That's OK, but I hope they don't mind if I move my email subscribers somewhere else (I've been meaning to do this for awhile). Unfortunately, it will take some time to do that as even that's not quite working yet.

Laboring away with "Work Song" ...

Hope you're having a great labor(less) day... Thought I'd celebrate it a bit by listening to a favorite—Nat Adderley's Work Song and share it with you:

This post is serving is laboring a bit... double duty to see if my feed is working again. I didn't hear from anyone about my recent travails with the email subscriptions, which may also be that no one is really reading those posts (or that the 359 current email subscribers have a bunch of old Jazz@Rochester posts in their spam folder)...

I am trying to implement a new email suscription option (I hope) using another service that should be more reliable. Some of you may have seen a new box pop up on the blog for a bit. It's gone now until I figure out a few things. If you see it again, you won't have to do anything. Current subscribers will be automatically resubscribed to the new service.
