Polar Vortex got you down? I'm certainly waiting for tomorrow to warm it up a bit. It probably has been taking quite a toll on the live jazz scene around town as people hunker down. Damn it's cold outside! Whether you call it the Polar Vortex or a Canadian Clipper doesn't make any difference ... it's just too damn COOOOOLD! 
No resolutions about the blog this year (I know myself and my time limitations better than to do that...). You may have noticed that the "Jazz Around Town" has disappeared from this regular post. Since they are ALL listings posts (at least for now) it was getting a bit redundant....
