The town of Webster's motto is "Where Live is Worth Living."  I guess that leaves the rest of us out in the cold (or the heat this time of year).  This weekend is the annual Webster Jazz Festival. This year they're splitting it up on Friday and Saturday, with Friday being in various venues around the Village of Webster and Saturday on the street. While this time of year usually has fewer gigs in and around Rochester, there's still lots to pick from, so check them out.

I hear it's hot in Rochester. I'm sorry, but you don't know hot until you've been in Wichita for June & July. It's been in the 90s (with 100 heat indexes) for it seems a month.  I think you need to get out into some air-conditioned space and hear some hot jazz.  Good thing there is some around town over the next seven days....

Yes, it is over.
