Join us here for ... Live jazz in ROC, December 13-19
As we slide from 2018 to 2019, there is ... Live jazz in ROC, December 27th to January 2nd

Jingle bell ... Jazz in Rochester, December 20th to 26th ... Happy Holidays!

Dexter Gordon Xmas imageHope you and yours have (or are already having) a wonderful holiday season.  JazzRochester is staying home for the holidays.  Take all of the regular listings below with a healthy skepticism as I rely on artists and venues to let me know of changes. Let me know if there is something you know is not happening and I'll 86 it from the post. I would call the venue before heading out.  Also, let me know if there are any New Years Eve events that will be featuring jazz (those that will be open to the public, that is....).

Jazz 90.1 has a couple of special holiday programs to check out, including a holiday performance by Bob Sneider and his Merry Gentleman, recorded at a performance at Bop Shop Records last week on Christmas Eve at 6:00 pm, and then Rob Linton presenting the 14th Annual Christmas Eve Celebration on Christmas Eve from 8:00 pm to midnight.

Every Wednesday, every week, you'll find your next seven days of jazz in and around Rochester right here on JazzRochester. Sign up for our email list to get your jazz goodness every week (plus, whatever else I publish from time to time).  Check us out on social media (links at the top of the column to the right). Whatever floats your boat....

Start here, but if you hear about something that I haven't added below, please drop me a line (use the Contact Us link above),  give me the deets and I'll add it. As always, let me know if any gigs below are not happening or if I got something wrong. Sh*t happens and I sometimes get it wrong.  Around the holidays, I always suggest that you call the venue first as I'm sometimes the last to hear of changes or "special" music ....
